Recently, 50 Suzhou Jinlong Haige new energy buses were loaded on board at Shanghai Port and set sail for Uruguay. This batch of buses is the first large-scale export of Chinese new energy buses to Uruguay, and will soon serve Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay.

It is reported that the user of this batch of 50 Suzhou King Long new energy buses is C Group, the largest bus operator in Uruguay. C Group currently operates more than 1,400 buses in the Uruguayan capital, with more than 120 urban and intercity routes, carrying about 240 million passengers each year and a cumulative mileage of about 73 million kilometers. The new Suzhou King Long new energy buses will be put into operation on bus routes in the central area of the Uruguayan capital to replace existing diesel buses and promote the green development and modernization of the country's public transportation.

As the first member of the Southern Common Market to join the Belt and Road Initiative, Uruguay enjoys the reputation of "Switzerland of South America" for its beautiful and pleasant natural environment. Renewable energy resources, especially electricity resources, are very abundant. Therefore, Uruguay attaches great importance to the development of new energy industries. Today, Uruguay has become one of the leaders in the electrification of public transportation in Latin America.

In order to meet the needs of Uruguayan users and improve the travel experience, Suzhou Kinglong has customized this batch of new energy buses for customers after sufficient preliminary research. There are two types of single-decker and double-decker models, and the body length is more than 12 meters. This batch of vehicles has a grand appearance and stylish shape. The car is equipped with humanized facilities such as soft seats and USB ports. The full-charge range can reach 250 kilometers, which meets the daily operation needs of public transportation; Uruguay's terrain is mainly low mountains and hills, and the terrain is undulating. In order to adapt to local road conditions and ensure driving safety, Suzhou Kinglong has equipped this batch of vehicles with chassis lifting function, chassis armor and driver visual assistance system in the driving area. In addition, Suzhou Kinglong has also improved the handrails and call systems in the disabled area to meet local regulations.

Since entering the Uruguayan market for the first time in 2009, Suzhou Kinglong has won the recognition of the local market and passengers with its high-quality products and stable after-sales service, and has gradually expanded the influence of the Chinese brand "Higer Bus" in Uruguay. As the wave of China's new energy vehicles sweeps the world, Suzhou Kinglong has successfully won the first batch order in Uruguay with its advanced experience in new energy technology accumulated over many years, which has far-reaching significance for both Suzhou Kinglong and the "Made in China" going global. And this batch of pure electric buses will also provide local passengers with a more green, environmentally friendly and comfortable riding experience with its advantages such as low noise and green environmental protection.

In the past decade, Suzhou Kinglong has closely followed the pace of the Belt and Road Initiative, and Higer Bus has set up operations in many countries in South America, including Uruguay, Peru, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Venezuela, etc. Under the new circumstances, Suzhou Kinglong will seize the new opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative, take the road of "going overseas", and continue to export high-quality green solutions for China's new energy public transportation to the world with high-quality products and efficient services, so as to promote the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
